Wendy B. Wenger, MA, had been working as a therapist and advocate for children and adults since earning her master’s degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She worked with many local, state-wide, and international organizations throughout her career. Wendy employed both traditional and somatic therapeutic techniques to assist individuals, couples, and families with various important life issues. In 2021, her son passed and this started her grief journey and decision to honor her son’s memory by publishing these stories. Charley’s New Friend is the first in the series to be published.

Djacson Stvil is a Newark, New Jersey-based illustrator specializing in digital media since 2010. Inspired by Yoji Shinkawa and his father, Daniel, he developed a keen eye for subtle details. In his youth, he sketched his friends and family as characters in various video games, cartoons, and anime. Djacson captures these nuances in his work through colors, environments, and perspectives. His passion lies in expressing moods and atmospheres and helping others convey their ideas through art.
